چکیده
We prove in a uniform way that all Denjoy–Carleman differentiable function classes of Beurling type C(M) and of Roumieu type C{M}, admit a convenient setting if the weight sequence M = (Mk) is log-convex and of moderate growth: For C denoting either C(M) or C{M}, the category of C-mappings is cartesian closed in the sense that C(E, C(F,G)) ∼= C(E × F,G) for convenient vector spaces. Applications to manifolds of mappings are given: The group of C-diffeomorphisms is a regular C-Lie group if C ⊇ Cω , but not better.

The Convenient Setting for Non-quasianalytic Denjoy–carleman Differentiable Mappings
For Denjoy–Carleman differential function classes C where the weight sequence M = (Mk) is logarithmically convex, stable under derivations, and non-quasianalytic of moderate growth, we prove the following: A mapping is C if it maps C -curves to C -curves. The category of C -mappings is cartesian closed in the sense that C (E, C (F, G)) = C (E × F, G) for convenient vector spaces. Applications t...

متن کاملOn two problems concerning quasianalytic Denjoy–Carleman classes
Given a Denjoy–Carleman class Q = QM , consider the Hilbert space H = HM of some quasianalytic functions on the cube (−1, 1)m, introduced by Thilliez [5]. In our article [2], we posed the question whether polynomials are dense in H, and indicated that this open problem can be related to that of certain decompositions of functions from H with respect to their Taylor series at zero, which is of g...
